This is a remote position for the Chicago market. Position Summary: The Director Customer Brands, Frozen will be accountable for the Frozen customer brands for his/her area of responsibility, either the Eastern or Western part of the US. Product responsibility includes all Frozen private label, co-manufacturing, and products for resale (PFR’s). Total sales responsibility ranges from $200 mm - $270 mm in annual revenues, which ranges from 20% - 25% of the total Frozen business unit. The position will have day-to-day responsibility for managing accounts and for hunting and bringing on new business as well as managing RFP’s. The position also serves as the subject matter expert to DFA Dairy Brands (DFADB) National and Regional account leaders who do not regularly sell Frozen products. The position will lead the cross-functional business processes as it relates to Frozen Customer Brands, engaging cross-functional resources across multiple geographies to deliver against the annual volume and profit plan. The position will also contribute to and be responsible for implementing the overall Frozen long-term Strategic Plan within his/her area of responsibility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for leading and delivering the Frozen volume and profit plan for his/her area of responsibility Implement and execute the development and of the company’s overall Frozen business strategy Have direct day-to-day account responsibility for the Frozen customer brands at 5-7 accounts within assigned geographical responsibility Mine, hunt, and bring on new profitable business opportunities Maintain and track an opportunity pipeline of targeted customers for customer branded business Manage and oversee Frozen RFP responses for his/her area of responsibility, including providing business pricing, profitability and competitive analysis Support other DFADB account owners who have responsibility for Frozen customer brands Be a leading resource on Ice Cream trends, competition and other insights; participate in customer meetings in support of the non-frozen Key Account Managers Lead the annual Frozen business planning process for his/her area of responsibility. Leverage the cross-functional review process to lead collaboration across the business functional teams including Operations, Logistics, Finance and Commercial Bring actionable ideas to his/her area based on capabilities and best practices found in other Dean businesses throughout the country Lead quarterly and monthly Frozen business reviews Provide Commercial leadership on special cross-functional projects within his/her area of responsibility (eg, plant openings/closures, new go-to-market strategies, etc.) Participate as an active member of the Frozen Leadership team Execute other Frozen segment responsibilities as assigned by the VP-Customer Brands.
