We are seeking a confident and driven Account Manager with a proven track record in exceeding new business sales targets and networking in the healthcare arena. This is an excellent opportunity with unlimited earning potential for a self-starter who enjoys cultivating client relationships and uncovering new sales. The role involves managing a defined book of existing accounts, fostering long-term strategic relationships with key client stakeholders, and strategically growing existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Grow and maintain existing client base by closing new business sales and growing existing contracts.
Foster long-term strategic relationships with key client stakeholders.
Strategically map, plan and execute on growing existing accounts.
Be responsible for the full sales cycle and leverage sales support teams and other internal resources as needed.
Travel to meet with clients when appropriate and maintain regular contact.

Establish productive, professional relationships with strategic business leaders both internally and externally.
Build and manage a robust pipeline and prepare accurate sales forecasts, new growth ideas and contingency plans.

Continually improve your product and industry knowledge while also understanding client pain points to ensure the best support can be offered to your customers and colleagues.
Contribute fully to the objectives of your team/division and achieve the personal objectives set by your manager.
Collaborate with colleagues of all levels proactively, positively and professionally.
Provide feedback from customer training sessions/meetings and share with colleagues and manage up.

Requirements
7 years of sales experience and account management.
A proven track record of having successfully won new business contracts.
Experience in $250k plus deal management and closing.
Working knowledge of the global pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.
Excellent communication, presentation, listening, negotiation and closing skills.
Account management experience up-selling & cross-selling directly to senior decision-makers.
Strong networking and rapport building ability.
Proven ability to successfully conduct business with clients in person.
Accountability, Positivity & Integrity.
Dynamic self-starter, solution-focused and creative thinker.
Ability to present complex ideas & products simply.
Ability to identify client challenges and develop creative solutions in close collaboration with colleagues and clients

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $125,000-$150,000 plus commission. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
