Job Summary
*Applicants must reside in Houston, Denver, or Dallas. Responsible for developing and executing strategies to promote, to market and to grow indirect channel sales. Engages and educates agent partners so that these partners can better promote and sell company business class products and services through the indirect distribution channel. Remotely manage ongoing relationships with agent partners. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Develop strategies and plans to promote and to market our business class services to outside sales agents.
Develop materials to educate agent partners on these services and use these materials to educate our agent partners in order to assist them in their goal of increasing sales.
Consult with partners on strategy and solutions to customer issues.
Determine ways to engage agent partners and enhance ongoing relationship with these partners.
Identify recruit, train and support the partner community to position the entire suite of business class solutions.
Serve as liaison to channel partners with regard to any sales-related issues/escalations.
Interact with the local market leadership to discuss sales activities and make recommendations on sales strategy and opportunities for growth.
Work closely with the national partner sales directors on local market initiatives and partner recruitment events.
Negotiate deal pricing with agents and partners.
Collaborate with internal teams such as sales engineering, finance etc. to provide exceptional client service to the partner and the customer.
Educates partners on company products and provides consultative guidance on solutions.
Provides accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnel via SalesForce.com.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
