Description
The Manager, Sales Forecasting & Reporting analyzes and reports sales results primarily in Power BI, as well as dashboards, ad-hoc request, and presentations across several lines of business and to customers across the company, including senior sales leadership. The Manager, Sales Forecasting & Reporting works within specific guidelines and procedures; applies advanced technical knowledge to solve moderately complex problems; receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines approach, resources, schedules and goals; and manages a small team of report developers and analysts.
Responsibilities
The Manager, Sales Forecasting & Reporting collaborates with sales, IT and finance to develop, create and maintain reporting requirements and ensures that sales vs target reporting meets the company's needs, is accurate, and updates on a daily basis. Exhibits strong technical skills in SQL Server Management Studio and Power BI to prepare and present integrated and dynamic data sets in an excellent end-user experience. Relies on strong business knowledge to interact with sales leaders to discern report and analytics needs and then turn those requirements into functional and accurate reporting tools. Supports the development and function of target-setting tools that assist multiple organizations across Humana in their annual sales target-setting. Decisions are typically related to resources, approach, and tactical operations for projects and initiatives involving own departmental area. Requires cross departmental collaboration, and conducts briefings and area meetings; maintains frequent contact with other managers across the department.
Required Qualifications
2 or more years of experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI
2 or more years of experience coding T-SQL in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
2 or more years of experience in data analysis
Proven ability to develop intuitive, functional, and aesthetically-pleasing reports and dashboards
Strong decision making, leadership and motivational skills with the ability to coach, evaluate, train and provide constructive feedback to associates
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Ability to manage multiple projects/assignments simultaneously
Strong critical thinking, problem solving and organizational skills
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated, including booster or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. Preferred Qualifications
Certification in User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX) design
Bachelors degree
2 or more years of leadership experience
Experience within the healthcare or managed care industry
Prior experience in sales specific data and reporting
