Manpower UK are recruiting on behalf of our client located in Aldham for a Business Sales Manager.
This role is responsible for leading and managing a team of Business Managers whose task is to seek new business opportunities - B2B, Resellers, and Housing Developers.
Main Duties:-
Assist in the recruitment of new Business Managers into the CBL team
Educate, Coach and mentor the team on an ongoing basis
Be responsible for, and manage, team's sales performance and coach/manage accordingly
Ensure team's performance is in line, if not ahead, of company targets and expectations
Identify and approach new business opportunity
Attend Business seminars, workshops and conferences to build the brand name of CBL
Negotiate new contracts to maximise value and margins
Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure the Business Team have the tools they need.
Produce presentations and customer proposals
Regular reporting to DoS on team performance
Identify additional value-added sales opportunities within existing customer base to include, telephony, CCTV etc. to maximise customer value
Experience:-
Successful in Sales management
Experience in Telecoms - Preferred but not essential
Extensive Sales Coaching and development
2 years or more telecommunications Business sales experience or similar
Networking and telephony sales experience such as leased lines and VOIP
Excellent coaching, mentoring and people management skills
Exceptional timekeeping, self-motivated and organised
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Able to identify, recruit and train high performing sales executives
A flexible, target-driven, proactive approach
Commercially driven
Provide detailed and accurate area sales forecasts
Strong understanding of CRM systems and practices
