Typically as a manager:

• Manages a team that develops and implements a strategic long-term plan for a global account, country or a few countries or a new market entry.

• Portfolio covers highly complex markets and more than one type of business operating models exist.

• Makes a fundamental contribution to the development and realization of departmental strategy and strategy coverall. Is accountable for delivering business objectives for own portfolio.

• Has a large variety of (groups of) internal and external stakeholders on a strategic level and manages opposite interests.

Typically as an individual contributor:

• Prioritises and shapes own work and of others (e.g. in projects).

• Portfolio scope is global or for a large region. For example, covering one specific and significant customer with extensive geographical coverage.

• Undertakes significantly complex stakeholder management which will require alignment between countries and global teams, and within global teams. Is the face of Shell in all engagements with the global customer.
