As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions.Role Description:Responsible for driving growth and achieving the assigned new business goal across the Risk, Health, Wealth and HCS Solution Lines. Accountable to the office leader and office Solution Line Leaders to deliver new business goals for their assigned territory. By driving individual goal achievement, the Resident Sales Director helps the office, region and Aon US attain assigned sales goals by December 31st. Always promotes the value Aon delivers to clients. Performs as a mentor/player, with an individual Producer sales goal.Roles and Responsibilities:Complete annual New Business plan for assigned territory across all Solution Lines. Seek creative opportunities to ensure effective cross sell strategies are performed.Drive growth: Achieve or exceed the office’s quarterly and annual new business revenue goals.Support the execution of the National Sales, Marketing and Growth Enablement platform and initiatives.Lead at minimum a monthly office sales meeting, bi-weekly producer meetings to share new business sales tactics and insights from recent appointments, pipeline, wins and lossesLead all aspects of the development and ongoing implementation and quarterly updates of useful annual Individual and assigned territory Sales and Marketing Plans.Develop and maintain a sales-focused culture.Supervise and assess ongoing new business results and related pipeline activity tracking across the team, and promptly anticipate and address negative new business variances or trends and/or activity issues. Quarterly assess all producer performance to goal.Forecast new business monthly and quarterly with 95% accuracy.Mentor and develop, problem-solve and strategize with the office’s producers, Account Executives, and broking and consulting leaders to build, develop and close specific revenue opportunities.Maintain a fair marketplace in terms of prospect allocation across the office and firm’s resources and follow protocols for pipeline documentation and production credit disputes. Build a top 20 prospect list, ensure prospects are assigned to the most appropriate colleague to ensure successStreamline, tailor and/or implement marketing, including email campaigns, mailings, seminars, webinars, seminars, roundtables and Forums to drive revenue opportunities tailored to the office’s new business priorities and market area(s).Educate Producers, Account Executives, Consultants and Broking Leaders on new products, approaches, services and solutions and Aon’s capabilities and thought leadership with training on the segment or client applicability and recommended dialoguing with clients and prospects.Proactively and consistently communicate and meet with clients, prospects, insurers, and competitors to maintain a current knowledge of talent in the office’s market area(s).Recruit and present your recommendation and business plan for the best business development personnel (Producers, Account Executives, Consultants and support personnel to enable others to produce more) for the market area’s needs.Use Aon’s onboarding tool kits, including Aon University Sales Training materials, with business developers across all Solution Lines, to build a clear understanding of their role and responsibilities, specified sales goals, and training on Aon Connect, Aon’s office, national and global resources and systems.Identify and champion focused centers of influence in the accounting, legal, financial and other segments of the business community in the office’s market areas for office-wide partnership and referral.Use available strategic processes to ensure that Aon has earned all or the majority of its middle market, large corporate, multi-national and Enterprise clients’ risk management, Health, Wealth and Reinsurance (where applicable) wallet/spend.
