The B2B Contract and Sales Compliance Sr. Specialist works with the Sales Leadership team and other internal partners to develop sales contract strategies, as well as negotiate, execute and maintain B2B sales contracts.
What will you do?
B2B Sales Contract Management
Responsible for each phase of the contracting process, including preparing, redlining and reviewing commercial sales agreements and negotiating terms
Execute and administrator of contracts, contract extensions, terminations and re-negotiations
Proficient in reviewing and redlining purchase orders and vendor registration terms and conditions
In-depth knowledge of B2B sales processes, business goals, terms and conditions, language and process management requirements for sales contracts
Develop and execute contracting and negotiation strategies for sales contracts in alignment with Sales Leadership team and internal and BBY Legal expectations
Collaborate with sales leaders, Legal department and business unit leaders in managing the contract review, compliance, editing and execution process
Manage contract lifecycle processes including expirations and renewals
Understands business financials and outcomes
Develop a complete understanding of contract sales agreements and projects ranging from low to high complexity
Analyze RFP requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions (to ensure compliance with appropriate laws), regulations and corporate policies, while facilitating the signature authority requirement for RFPs (as appropriate)
Support continuous improvement of the BBYB standard agreement templates
Create and maintain relevant learning tools and documents to be used by sales teams
Sales Contract Compliance and Risk Mitigation
Ensures protection of company interests through compliance with contract terms, policies and regulations
Knowledgeable with compliance of legal/regulatory requirements and manages risks and escalates appropriately
Develop a working knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and policies specific to the business in partnership with BBY Legal. Apply such knowledge to the development of the contract

Manages high volume contract sales agreements and projects ranging from low to high complexity (may be hundreds annually). Function as individual contributor

Data Entry, Processing and Maintenance
Coordinate processing, storage and maintenance of sales contracts, POs, certificates of insurance and other contractual documents
Utilize systems to track and manage documents including Documentum and DocuSign
This position is remote eligible.
Basic Requirements (You must meet or exceed all basic requirements to be eligible):
1.5 Years of Business, Finance, B2B Sales or related experience
1 Years’ experience in Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Access, Excel)
2 years of experience to include sourcing/buying, negotiation and contracting
Preferred Qualifications:
5 Years’ experience with B2B Sales; including Government and Healthcare Sales Contracts and HIPAA Compliance
1 Years’ experience with Client Relationship Management
