Reporting to the Director of Graduate Admission, the candidate will serve as an enrollment management leader grounded in excellent customer service and will be responsible for meeting quality customer service metrics and assessments. They will collaborate effectively in a team environment to design, enact and continuously improve upon interconnected customer service standards, processes, and procedures. The candidate will provide concierge-level service to prospective students and guide them through the steps to enrollment. This role will serve as the first reader for all graduate admission applications and will assist in scheduling virtual and on-campus appointments with graduate admission staff. If you\u2019re passionate about helping students and value the importance of our historical mission of access, opportunity, and inclusion, then we welcome your application for this position.Primary Responsibilities:Ensure all applications are reviewed based on established criteria for each graduate program within the College of Arts & Sciences and Sawyer Business School.\u00A0 This includes: Responsible for the timely and accurate evaluation of graduate program applicants.\u00A0 Calculating GPAs for domestic and international applicants based on established process & guidelinesUsing a digital-based application system will ensure applications are complete, assigning a rank based on established criteria for special financial aid merit programs, code applications with a preliminary decision and route to Academic Faculty or the Director of Graduate Admission for final reviewProvide hands-on, concierge-level service to students during the enrollment process. Serve as the customer service lead for the Office of Graduate Admission. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:Respond to prospective student inquiries in collaboration with the Graduate Operations Team received in the Graduate Admission email account and Slate InboxDaily outreach to prospective students with the goal of scheduling virtual and on-campus appointments for admission counseling staffAssist with phone coverage for the admission office when neededTrack graduate applications for completeness and follow up via email, phone and text in an effort to improve conversion of prospective students to completed applicantsConnect prospective students and applicants with appropriate campus resources as neededProvide Logistical Support for Recruiting Events, which can include:Arranging rooms and event needs such as catering, IT support, and facilitiesAssist Associate Director of Graduate Admission with web updates, event registration updates and analysis of event effectiveness/attendee profilesCoordinating Reminder calls for upcoming events, supervising and training graduate fellows as neededProvide support at large-scale admission events such as Open House, Grad School 101 and Graduate Admitted Student Events\u00A0Other duties may include the following:Assist with data projects and reports Manage online environments as needed (e.g Virtual Information Sessions,Webinars, Chats etc.)\u00A0Other duties as assigned by the Director of Graduate Admission, Managing Associate Director of Graduate Admission and Associate Director of Graduate Admission.\u00A0Requirements/Qualifications:At least 2-3 years of experience working in customer service in a university setting, preferred.Associate\u2019s Degree RequiredSales or marketing experience strongly preferred.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a diverse work environmentStrong time management and ability to meet strict, frequent deadlinesAbility to engage and network with prospective applicants including the ability to represent the University professionally, express the value of attending Suffolk and to \u2018sell\u2019 a visionExcellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to write a wide variety of concise, engaging and professional material directed to a wide variety of internal and external audiencesPossess a love for creativity and innovation; willingness to try new approaches to achieve desired objectives. Ability to dynamically engage with prospective applicants and families.Detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize, and work on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, often with many interruptions.Strong team player who takes pride in every aspect of work, performs it with energy and enthusiasm, has great listening skills, and is committed to continuous learning.Willingness to commit to exceeding expectations and deliver the highest level of customer service.Proficiency with technology including Word, Excel, CRM systems (preferably Slate), social media, Zoom, WebEx, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams etc.Ability to work flexible hours with some evening and weekend work as needed.Ability to work independently and as part of a team on group projects.\u00A0
