Aon Is Looking for A Health Solutions Assistant Vice President, Account Executive - Small Market (Aon Local Advantage) As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions to clients of Aon’s East Health Solutions consulting practice. As a Health Solutions Assistant Vice President, you will report directly to the Local Practice Leader. The Health & Benefits Assistant Vice President- Account Executive will be a key contributor to driving the growth of the Aon Local Advantage offering for employers with 100-500 enrolled employees working with a team of consultants and analysts responsible for client delivery in this market segment.  The role involves business development in partnership with Aon’s new business producers and risk account executives to secure new client relationships as well as the management of ongoing U.S. health and benefits client relationships and delivery of consulting services to a portfolio of clients.  Your Impact as an ALA Health Solution Assistant Vice President, Account Executive Local Advantage (ALA) is Aon’s approach to the smaller employer segment. The typical client size is employers with 100 – 500 employees. In this market segment, clients are predominantly fully-insured and traditionally on a commission basis. However, we also support non-complex, alternatively funded, and self-funded clients through the ALA team. This position will work closely with their assigned team to deliver client value and delivery consulting services within a defined scope of work.This position will have frequent interactions with the client CFO, Human Resource/Benefit Director for the delivery of benefits consulting services.  Responsibilities include managing overall client deliverables,  proactive project management, frequent vendor interface, developing client reports, leading external meetings and internal resource coordination.   Additionally, the ALA Health Account Executive has responsibilities for revenue growth while identifying client needs for other consulting services within the scope of Local Advantage. Job Responsibilities: In partnership with the new business producers, present Aon’s Local Advantage to prospective clients and deliver targeted revenue growth for the small market segment by expansion of Health Solutions’ offering to new and existing clientsPresents to prospective clients in finalist meetings.Grow the client relationship through excellent service and expanding the types of services delivered to the client within the segmentManage ongoing client relationship and internal team work to support client service & client   Deliver renewals and ongoing financials results with a deep understanding of fully insured and self-insured underwriting methodologies.Oversee and perform vendor management, including carrier follow-up, problem resolution, negotiations of renewals, etc.Conducts meetings, monitor, and execute deliverables and accountabilities based on project scope and statement of work.Articulate findings to clients, and work with them in a consultative manner.RFP review & preparation.Work with team to confirm Summary Plan Descriptions and contract compliance is met.Communicate and support clients for compliance with all ERISA, State and Federal requirementsAnalysis of utilization reports, carrier reports, and claims data & trends.Contract review and benefit comparisons.Takes ownership of work and is accountable for its completion and accuracy; can problem solve and make effective decisions.Prepare open enrollment meeting materials and conduct meetings with employees.Possess a strong understanding of the health and group benefits and participates as needed on task forces and special project teams.Form effective teams, share client background and goals, measure results, share ideas, identify process improvements, provide timely and regular coaching and feedback to team membersAct as strategic resource for consultants and analystsExhibit thought leadership—understand and be able to articulate ideas to clientsManage to Aon standards by utilizing standardize tools, technology and process to deliver scope of services You Bring Knowledge and Expertise Required Experience: Minimum 5years of experience in Consulting or US benefit brokerage experience strongly preferred.Client facing experience at a brokerage firm, insurance company, consulting or in the Health and Benefits disciplineBusiness development experienceExcellent communications skills (written and verbal).Strong organizational and project management skills and strong analytical ability.
