Description
The DMS Sales Agent- Dental and Vision Sales conducts selling activities related to inbound calls inquiring about individual health plan products. The DMS Sales Agent work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. Our inside sales agents have a passion for assisting people, especially Dental and Vision consumers, to provide the best healthcare benefit options to meet their needs, while building relationships that impact the health and well-being of our members. We provide our Inside Sales Associates the ability to build a book of business by fostering relationships and becoming our member's partner in their healthcare journey.

Responsibilities
The DMS Sales Agent- - Dental and Vision Sales qualifies prospects and attempts to close sale. Arranges for field representative to visit prospect if sales are not closed. May originate calls from leads. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.
The candidate should also display the below attributes:
Use a consumer-centric, consultative selling approach to align our consumers' healthcare needs with appropriate Dental and Vision & Medicare products from Humana's portfolio.
Work independently to achieve sales goals to maximize Humana's growth and membership, while retaining current membership.
Model a high level of professionalism, integrity, and quality with every consumer phone interaction.
Required Qualifications
Active resident Health insurance license in your state of current residence (based on the resident state's Department of Insurance requirement)
High School diploma or GED
Excellent telephone etiquette and verbal communication skills
Ability to personalize call presentations to effectively close and retain the sale
Computer proficient and able to navigate multiple online agent tools while providing a perfect consumer experience
Demonstrated ability to adapt and multi-task quickly to a high energy, ever changing environment
Strong drive to succeed and personal accountability towards achieving goals
Flexibility - Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, nights and weekends as needed to meet business demands
Associates working in the state of Arizona must comply with the Tobacco Free Hiring Policy (see details below under Additional Information) and upon offer will be subjected to nicotine testing as part of a 10-panel drug test
Work at Home Requirements
In order to support the computer systems and sensitivity of our business, the following are required:
High-speed cable or DSL Internet connection that must hard-wire to the computer (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role)
Minimum Internet speeds of 10Mbps for download (15Mbps recommended) and 1Mbps for upload
A dedicated workspace minimizing ongoing interruptions and which keeps consumer's information private
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual English, and Spanish
Proven ability to close sales at a high rate
Healthcare industry and/or insurance experience
Bachelor's Degree
Dental and/ or Vision sales experience
Call Center experience
Additional Information
8am-8pm EST, Overtime as needed based on business needs
Weekend rotation based on business needs
