Join our leadership team as a Complex Director of Leisure Sales at Casa Marina and The Reach Resort in the southernmost point in the U.S., Key West ! These luxurious properties are a landmark of the grace, charm, and tranquility of Old Key West offering an exciting opportunity to be a part of this award-winning team.

The Casa Marina will be closing mid-May for a full renovation and will have a 3-tiered reopening with the first tier beginning in September and will be fully reopened by December. The Reach Resort has 150 rooms and 4,700 square feet of banquet space.

In this role, you will be focused primarily on wholesale and consortia - Tour & Travel.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of related experience in a similar role. Resort or luxury experience is preferred. *REMOTE OPTIONAL with appropriate experience.

What will I be doing?

As the Complex Director of Leisure Sales, you will research, develop, and solicit new FIT business while maintaining relationships with current accounts. Specifically, this includes but is not limited to:

Travel outside (most likely remote) of the office to meet with customers and prospective customers to develop business, make proposals, negotiate contracts, maintain contacts, conduct site inspections, and close deals. Support Hilton HWS initiatives and customer events.

Consistently meet with and entertain customers, conduct property tours, participate in tradeshows and industry and community events to promote facilities and services.

Develop and solicit new Consortia accountswith a focus on American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts/Hotel Collection, Virtuoso, Travel Leaders Select and Signature, Impresario

Monitor implementation of packages and offers with operational departments and deploy to luxury partnerships (FH&R, Virtuoso, Signature)

Develop FIT, Wholesale and Entertainment Accounts

Support and promote leisure package, offers and promotions in conjunction with the Revenue Management and Marketing Teams

Set and negotiate rates with direction from Revenue Management and DOSM

Conduct research on key account room night/revenue performance at competitive set

Prepare account performance reports on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis

Grow relationships with current accounts

Host and direct on-property Travel Partner FAM Trips, Site Inspections and Educational Tours

Plan and execute sales calls, presentations and client entertainment with retail travel agents, travel managers, and other intermediaries

Consistently present a polished, professional image of the Resort

Effectively cross-sell Resort outlets and revenue centers (i.e., spa, dining, golf and activities)

International and Domestic Travel required based on the marketing plan focusing on retail travel agencies, consortia and wholesale accounts

Will be self-motivated, team-oriented, ambitious and driven for sales success

Execute additional projects and duties as assigned by the Home Office and property

Interview, train and supervise staff
