Job Description: RFx Analyst/Sales Enablement Analyst
The RFx Analyst has the day-to-day strategic and tactical responsibility of supporting Sales teams in the collaboration, preparation, execution, and deployment of responses to incoming requests for proposals.
A point of contact for Sales teams for proposal management; reviews requests for information (RFIs), requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for quotes (RFQs). Develops proposal plans and outlines, develops responsibility matrix, develops milestones and schedules and creates proposal packaging. Organizes and guides the proposal team in preparing the business, technical and cost components of the proposal, interpreting specific proposal requirements as appropriate. In addition to work on specific proposals, the RFx Analyst collaborates with corporate stakeholders and team members to ensure business and infrastructure information is proposal-ready for use in future proposals.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The RFx Analyst is responsible for the completeness and compliance of RFP/RFI/RFQ responses. While some answers are developed based on business decisions made by sales and management, the RFx Analyst is responsible for researching and, where possible, providing corporate answers to RFP/RFI questions.
Manages the proposal development project to completion, ensuring proposal documents are complete and reviewed for quality (plan, coordinate, and conduct team reviews of proposal content).
Efforts may include writing pieces of the proposal response and providing answers from the proposal library/archive.
Coordinate internal and external subject matter experts to answer RFP/RFI questions.
Manages response preparation, prepares and publishes responses.
The RFx Analyst must be able to assess the document(s) grammatically, stylistically, and technically.
Review and edit proposal responses and documents such as executive summaries, to ensure they are accurate, positioning the company positively and are suitable for the intended audience.
The RFx Analyst ensures that the proposal library and archive is managed, current, and secure.
The RFx Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining proposal “boilerplate” material for assigned products or subject areas of responsibility.
Provides thought leadership to industry sales teams as they seek to respond to customer RFI/RFP/RFQs.
Holds primary responsibility for updates to existing sales enablement content, as needed.
Assists with maintenance of centralized marketing and training content.
Acts as a liaison between Sales team and centralized functions.
Maintains effective communications with the field regarding opportunities to be of service.
Seeks ways to improve contributions and increase the level of responsibility of self and others’ professional development.
Continually maintains, expands, and applies knowledge in the area of expertise, as well as knowledge concerning industry concerns, technology trends, and field’s needs.
Understands the major solutions and products available.
Is relentless when tracking information or information sources.

Education and Experience
3-5 years of relevant experience required
BA/BS relevant area of study required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Self-starter with the ability to work in a virtual environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office with expert skills with Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint. Familiarity with RFPIO, Salesforce and OneDrive desirable. Self-motivated with a high level of organizational skill
Strong ability to prioritize and work flexibly in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple projects of varying level of complexity with minimal direction
Ability to preemptively identify and mitigate risks that could impact attaining project deliverables
Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
Understanding of storytelling techniques; familiarity with basic graphic design principles
