This role is viewed as an expert on the company’s handheld ultrasound products, solutions, education offerings and services and you will be a key team member for supporting the “in field sales channels with handheld ultrasound in their bag.”
This position is a home-office based role and can be located anywhere in the continental United States. It will support customers in the West so business hours should match PST.

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Lead the customer follow up, deal flow and post sale activities and support from eCommerce orders.
Drive pre-sale activities of handheld ultrasound products, solutions, educational offerings and services from leads and opportunity visibility generated through Social Media and Internet marketing activities including but not limited to initial qualification and offering positioning, coordination of demo equipment and online product introductions; then, pulling in the appropriate segment or channel sales reps when needed.
Become an eCommerce, handheld ultrasound subject matter expert.
Collaborate cross-functionally with many areas of GE Healthcare.
Ensure proper market segmentation is conducted and consequent product positioning is coherently maintained.
Generate leads and opportunities for the direct sales force through execution of GE installed base programs with add on products and solutions
Grow assigned sales channels and the customer portfolio purchasing through these new channels to achieve and exceed annual order and revenue targets in designated product and/or services categories through the marketing activities.
Maintain complete knowledge of all customer information and sales strategies through our CRM.
Act as Secondary salesperson for tactical sales opportunities by working directly with prospective customers and the PSS to build value for our offerings.
Support marketing activities such as exhibitions, seminars, user group meetings selling tools coordination, training/ education/promotion if needed.
Support and partner with field sales and service personnel in their efforts to sell strategic offerings and maximize account penetration by identifying sales prospects, developing targeted account strategies, providing account/product information, participating in internal/customer meetings, developing proposals and providing account follow up.
Drive targeted marketing campaigns and follow up on Telemarketing
Maintain thorough current and competitive product knowledge and clear understanding of market dynamics in order to offer creative solutions to customers. Understand basic clinical applications, functions, features and benefits with the ability to communicate them to customers.
Qualifications/Requirements
At least one of the following core experiences: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years successful over the phone business to business sales experience requiring closure of sales over the phone, or a minimum of 4 years GEHC experience in customer facing role(s) with deep domain expertise within the USA Ultrasound business.
Proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite products, with customer relationship database tool experience
Willingness to travel to required team meetings up to a few trips per year including overnight stays depending on business needs.
Ability to communicate using English

Proven track record of sales success, meeting and exceeding sales targets, and penetrating new accounts/markets/competitive through proficiency in prospecting, lead qualification, sales and negotiations.
Highly motivated goal-oriented self-starter with ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, takes initiative to make things happen, identifies what needs to be done and does it.
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills, including multitasking and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, follow up and attention to detail. Ability to interact effectively with all levels of an organization, both internally and with external customers.
Creative Problem Solving.
Experience with Customer Relationship Management tools.
Basic understanding of technical/medical equipment and services, preferred knowledge in applicable specific GE Healthcare care areas desired.
