This role facilitates positive business interactions and helps establish ourselves as a market leader with business & education clients and solutions customers (i.e. Hospitality, Business Incentives, Education, E-Commerce). The Sales Support Specialist assists the sales teams and clients by providing the highest level of service and satisfaction. To succeed in this role, the Support Operations Specialist must exhibit: strong attention to detail, the ability to easily navigate several systems and applications, strong problem-solving skills, and be well organized with the ability to multi-task
The Sales Support Specialist role will be required to work cross-functionally with Best Buy Business and Enterprise teams ensuring sales teams and business clients are supported appropriately through world class pre & post sale support, relationship building, & problem solving. This role relies heavily on high quality professional communication, in both verbal and written formats.
Key Responsibilities:
Real Time Support
Responding to real time support inquiries via Symphony Business, Phone queues, & Email
Focus on a balance of speed to execution with quality of interactions/responses ensuring the appropriate outcome is delivered.
Pre-sales and post-sales tasks &/or queue calls include but are not limited to: Pre-sale- Enabling skus, product availability, freight quotes
Post-sale - tracking/shipping etas, modifying home delivery dates, order cancellations
Works cross-functionally with business teams and external partners to obtain information needed to complete tasks.
System Navigation
Understand and utilize a multitude of systems & applications to execute daily tasks Systems include but not limited to: Comergent, OMA, FMS, Commerce Hub, Retek, edi
Ability to identify system issues and create tickets.
Communicate issues to appropriate teams as they arise.
Project work
Assisting in short term, client focused projects
Minimum Requirements:
1 year or more of retail or cusomter service experience
Ability to multi-task
Possess a strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn
Proven ability to develop relationships cross-functionally
Be able to think creatively to solve complex issues
Have the availability to work evenings until 6:30pm
Preferred Requirements:
1 years or more of experience communicating and partnering with vendors/3rd party
1 year or more of experience working cross-functionally between a Retail & Corporate structure
2 years or more of retail or customer service experience
