Description
The Sales Support Representative 2 provides timely and effective sales administrative support to assist with the acquisition or retention of customers. The Sales Support Representative 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.
Responsibilities
The Sales Support Representative 2 proactively reaches out to our broker partners to qualify dental, vision and life group opportunity potential for our Sales Executives. Their primary responsibility is to qualify or disqualify broker leads. This proactive outreach is primarily phone based with outbound calling to licensed insurance agents. The Sales Support Representative 2 also documents conversations in Sales Force and follows up with leads via email and marketing journeys as well. As they qualify leads they send them to our Specialty Sales Executives to advance the relationship. They also may set webex presentations and meetings for our Specialty Sales Executives. They work closely with our Specialty Sales Executives, Retention Executives and Sales Leaders as a valued member of our Humana Specialty Organization as we drive increased membership in the 2-99 group space. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.
This is a phone based position - this Sales Support Rep will be contacting lists of brokers asking scripted questions to determine future state of their business with Humana.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
1 or more years of experience in sales, marketing, or related field
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
This role will be phone based - making calls 80% of the time (approx. 60 dials per day to start)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
Experience in collecting, preparing, organizing, duplicating and assimilating documents in support of meetings
Prior administrative experience
