Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Differentiates GE's product offerings by conveying compelling value propositions, leading opportunities, developing and presenting solutions proposals and quotations, closing complex sales and responding to customers' clinical/technical questions
Establishes and develops relationships with all customer decision makers
Acts as clinical, technical, and commercial expert for the Patient Monitoring portfolio
Contributes to account plans for existing customers and develops plans for potential accounts
Provides training to all account team members on strategy and product offerings
Prospects for new business in territory through IB analysis and activates marketing programs
Works with the customers and internal GE team to help ensure seamless delivery and installation of products
Represents the company at trade association meetings to promote product and company
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years selling experience OR an associate degree with a minimum of 5 years selling experience
Previous experience in the Healthcare industry and/or commercial sales
Ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate in simple messages
Demonstrated experience negotiating and closing complex sales deals
Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization
Must be willing to live in assigned territory
Desired Characteristics
Proven experience and success selling Patient Monitoring products
Previous experience with healthcare capital equipment sales and Life Support/Monitoring products
Hospital executive relationship building skills
Strong understanding on the US Healthcare system and buying groups
