Description

The Business Systems Analyst performs analysis of business, process and user needs, documentation of requirements, cost/benefit analysis and translation into proper system requirement specifications. The Business Systems Analysis Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Responsibilities

The Business Systems Analyst formulates and defines systems and objectives based on user needs, a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements, as well as collaborative understanding of related tools and systems. Devises or modifies procedures and processes to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Validates benefits achieved from solution implementation. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Being the voice of the tool for all sales channels

External sales channels (Independent, strategic partners, call centers)

Internal sales channels (Field and Direct Marketing Services (DMS))

Creating agent communications

Working with organizational change management and other communication teams for planned communications

Sending incident and resolution notifications from SET (Sales Enabling Technology) group

Collaborate with impacted parties, including but not limited to:

Agent Support Unit

Account Executives

MarketPoint (Sales) Training

Project Management Office

Testing teams

Marketing

IT

Intake requests and prioritizing enhancements

Daily operations

Working escalated tickets

Collaborating with SCRUM teams

Story writing

Post production validation (PPV)

Process mapping and improvements

Required Qualifications

Experience using ad-hoc query tools and data repositories that support data extraction and manipulation (i.e. SQL, Access, Power BI, etc.)

Experience in problem analysis and process optimization

Experience writing, grooming and testing user stories

Experience with Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle

Problem solving and consultation within complex environments

Trained in SAFe Agile techniques for a Product Owner role

Demonstrated experience using Power BI and/or Power Automate in a Citizen Developer or Developer capacity

Demonstrated experience with process documentation and re-engineering

Demonstrated experience with user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design

Lean certification

Six Sigma certification

Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile Development Methodologies

Working knowledge of one or more Sales Enabling Technology tools/systems

Experience with Visio and SharePoint

Additional Information

Work at Home/Remote Requirements Must ensure designated work area is free from distractions during work hours and virtual meetings Must provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a workspace (Satellite and Hotspots are prohibited). A minimum standard speed of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) for optimal performance is required.
