Acquia is looking for an Inside Sales Representative/Business Development Representative (BDR) to begin a career with our outstanding sales team.

Acquia is already working with some of the most pre-eminent brands in the region: Australian Broadcast Corporation, IAG, Flight Centre, and the Australian Government all trust their digital presence to Acquia.

Our BDRs are the first point of contact for all new prospects to discuss Acquia's products and services. This role is critical to the business as the team's goal is to have engaging conversations with our clients to discover their challenges, their requirements, and help them settle on the most appropriate Acquia solution for their needs.

In this role, you will

Nurture new revenue opportunities by educating our inbound leads and prospects about open source, digital transformation and Acquia

Conduct high volume prospecting (50-60 calls, emails or Tweets per day) to qualify leads and prospects

Qualify prospects' needs and effectively map them to Acquia's offerings

Work closely with account executives and marketing to implement strategy and process

Become an industry specialist and develop product mastery

Consistently achieve (and exceed!) quarterly quotas and goals

Conduct yourself professionally and cast Acquia in a positive light

Assist our Regional Director in closing deals throughout the quarter

Skills and Qualifications Required:

Essential:

Recent Graduate ideally with 1-2 years related experience, preferably with a high-tech solution

A consistent record of high achievement

An outgoing personality and a good listener

Intellectual agility and an entrepreneurial demeanor; demonstrates drive, initiative, energy and sense of urgency in acquiring and serving clients.

Interest in working in a high growth, fast paced technology environment

Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to learn and absorb information quickly and rapidly adapt to changing business and customer demands.

Attention to the detail; organised and metric-driven

Confident presentation skills, a comfort level with senior professionals and the communications skills to articulate a value proposition to a wide range of organisational and functional levels.

Desirable:

Prior sales experience with a demonstrated ability to exceed quota

Prior experience in a rapidly growing technology company

Experience using Salesforce, and other sales productivity tools
