The Technical Sales Support Engineer provides direct support for specific technology and solutions in their respective GeoUnits, participating in the building and execution of sales strategies by identifying opportunities based on their technical expertise.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for growing market share and revenue with assigned accounts.

Helps to define the territory, and priorities between accounts. He plans the engagement plan

Promotes the sale of business line products and services to assigned accounts, utilizing field background expertise to match customer need with applicable solution.

Responsible for establishing and building relationships with assigned customers.

Optimizes sales opportunities through in-depth knowledge of client activities and plans and communicates customer activity and sales opportunities

Establishes trusted technical advisor relationships and understands our customer’s technical challenges.

Establishes professional relationships at client user level as well as at the executive level, and shares gained client requirements and opportunities across the Schlumberger sales organization and Business Line to maximize Schlumberger value, as well as to provide input into the R&D process.

Builds sales forecast to develop sales in accordance with the head office objectives.

Understands customers local environment and identifies new technical applications suited to their needs.

Monitor price structure and pricing levels and recommends necessary changes and price increases.

Maintains up-to-date knowledge of competitive products and services.

Provides technical support for sales activities such as bid proposal preparation, technical design options, and other technical services.

Coordinates with Supply Chain for smooth order process and delivery

Measures customer satisfaction through post job engagement

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum Education: BSc in Mechanical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering

Minimum 5 years of experience in onshore drilling and/or completions operations and/or well interventions and workovers

An experience in sales is preferred.

Ability to deliver technical presentations and to liaise with engineers within Oil and Gas/Engineering companies

Willingness to travel 50% of time within the Continental US, and ability to travel international if necessary

Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship
