Job Details:
SUMMARY: This person will work cross functionally with various business units to protect and grow our business in pursuit of optimizing the product mix while leading a team of sales professionals.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
· Develop and nurture professional relationships with key FS distributor and operator customers within specific markets.
· Help educate our distribution and operator partners on the Tyson portfolio.
· Maintain and further develop business relationships with the distributors or operators’ top management to achieve business objectives.
· Manage against sales plans by executing marketing programs, expense management deduction resolution, category management, and reviews with customers.
· Develop, empower, and lead direct reports.
Other duties include:
· Provide sales support at trade shows and distributor sales meetings including product training, product serving, presenting key features and benefits.
· Must be able to deliver against your volume goals and execute price strategies within the marketplace.
· Manage spend associated with the volume and manage the mix of product sold.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
· Experience: Minimum 3 years sales experience. Foodservice / distribution experience preferred.
· Computer Skills: Standard computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office products.
· Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Special Skills: Strategic thinking, negotiation skills, understanding of motivational leadership, conflict resolution skills.
· Travel: 30-50%.
Candidate must be located in Texas Market (Houston, Austin, or San Antonio)
