Job Purpose:

This position serves as the key contact for assigned SCI Senior 6 territories and is responsible to establish, develop, and continually enhance the overall relationship to drive Pre-Arranged Funeral Sales (PAF), onboard new acquisitions, upskill Sales Counselors for effectiveness, sales and administrative support and provide data/trend analysis to change behaviors and drive PAF production. In collaboration with the Senior Account Partner Manager, this role will maintain and continue to build relationships with their assigned SCI Senior 6 Leadership and territory Sales Counselors to develop and implement new programs, sales initiatives, structures, deliver training, and execute key initiatives to drive PAF production through various distribution methods. This role conducts their work face-to-face or virtual channels, as applicable.

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain strategic and day to day relationships with SCI Field Leadership and Agent Counselors in their assigned territory and cross functional Operations management to execute strategic direction for Sales.

In consultation with the Director of Preneed Sales and Experience, establish sales goals and implementation plans for Preneed. Collaborate on executing these goals and plans to the SCI Field Leadership, measure, track, and communicate the results to Agent Counselors and SCI Field Leadership and cascade to Senior Leadership.

Upskill Sales Counselors to drive PAF Sales with a focus on a profitable product mix.

Make recommendations for new products based on feedback and information observed in the field.

Provide input for the overall Preneed business planning process and develop a business action plan for PAF Sales through all distribution channels and new acquisitions. Update the business plan as appropriate.

Gather detailed information about Agent/counselors, analyze and prioritize data resulting in the development of sales strategies that ensure profit and growth objectives are achieved within assigned territory.

Lead cross functional sales account team best practice sharing, utilize consultative selling techniques, and leverage knowledge of all preplanning solution products, to propose products and services that support the strategic plan and profitable growth of the assigned territory and overall Preneed Partner relationship.

Manage performance to sales plan and territory plans using metrics and scorecards to measure productivity, sales discipline, quality, and achievement of financial results. Based on results, develop and implement specific action plans to increase profitability by leveraging data analytics and trend analysis to execute activities that change behaviors, increase awareness and focus to drive results.

Develop and deliver monthly/quarterly/annual Business Reviews to share results and forecasts/reports on sales activity and opportunity.

Maintain ongoing, timely knowledge and awareness of activities and challenges/opportunities within assigned territory and collaborate cross functionally to deliver exceptional Agent/Client experience.

Track all activities executed in Sales Force to provide Partner with data on the value of the relationship

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance or related field or an equivalent trade-off of related professional work experience.

1-3 years of successful sales experience, preferably within the financial services or Insurance industry.

1-3 years Preneed industry experience preferred

Strong sales aptitude and proven track record of success.

Demonstrated knowledge of Preplanning Solutions products and services, with in-depth understanding of the customers, business, industry, and market preferred.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, plan projects and maintain deadlines with strong organizational skills.

Ability to comprehend and follow complex processes, with aptitude for continuous improvement.

Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal, relationship building, problem-solving skills, and customer service skills.

Demonstrated ability to integrate computer technology into sales processes.

Demonstrated strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.

Demonstrated ability to effectively build business relationships with internal and external clients.

Proven experience in developing strategies which will improve competitive position.

Demonstrated ability to deliver effective presentations.

Life Insurance License (both resident and non-resident immediately upon or 90 days after employment).

Up to 75% travel required.

Bilingual Spanish preferred

Compensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan and exemption status.

Base Salary Range:

$85,800.00 - $143,100.00
