This position supports Aon's Risk practice.Your Impact as an Account Executive LeaderThe Account Management Leader is primarily responsible for leading talent development and driving growth across the AE Local Practice. This individual will report to the Resident Managing Director (RMD) and the National Account Management Practice Leader. Accountable to the RMD to deliver retention and rollover goals for the office as well as new business from the Account Management (AE) Local Practice. This responsibility may extend beyond direct AE reporting. By driving individual goal achievement, the AE Leader helps the office and ARS US attain aggregate business goals. Always promotes the value Aon delivers to clients, particularly through Client Promise. Job Responsibilities:Support Account Management’s effective alignment with the Aon Leadership Model.Educates Account Managements and Account Specialists directly and by assisting with training plans in client management, risk management, insurer interface and Aon resources, processes and tools.The Account Management Leader will help Account Managers marshal appropriate Aon resources to support retention and sales efforts and to assist clients.Drives and monitors the implementation of the entire Client Promise cycle. Ensures adherence to Client Promise Methodology, particularly the key elements of the renewal process.Teaming with Sales & Marketing, drives Account Management efforts on new and penetration sales, including collaboration with originators. The Account Management Leader raises AE awareness of and skills to introduce all of Aon’s products, services and specialty expertise.The Account Management Leader will work closely with the Resident Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer to lead critical best practice client management efforts including Strategic Account Review, Fee Discipline and Client Return to Profitability Planning.Performs related duties as assigned.ExperienceTypically at least 5-10 years of appropriate insurance experience, coupled with managerial ability. Strong project and account team management experience, and strong negotiation skills.In-depth working knowledge of the insurance business and the assigned clients’ needs as well as all major lines of business.Proficiency in PC office products such as Word, Excel.
