is seeking an experienced Sr. Product Manager knowledgeable in agile software development practices to work on key Digital Sales
products within the Direct-to-Customer team.
This role will work with the Digital Sales and cross-functional Digital and Technology teams to build out digital sales experiences for sales advisors and Best Buy’s customers. This role is central to ensuring our sales organization is ready and able to handle the needs of our customers who purchase via chat, voice, and video capabilities.
Role Summary:
The Senior Product Manager is responsible for delivering value by meeting user (customer/employee) needs, driving positive business results, and supporting enterprise strategies. This role requires mastery of most product management skills and is responsible for effectively leading products of increasing complexity/quantity or multiple products with minimal guidance. The Senior Product Manager will define product vision, roadmap, and author/approve quarterly objectives and key results in partnership with their product team and key stakeholders. They are responsible for building multi -team alignment on product prioritization (e.g., sprint, backlog, roadmap management) and must understand and utilize key customer and business metrics to inform their priorities. Senior Product Manager is also responsible for ensuring there are continuous feedback loops with their users (customers/employees) and supporting discovery practices that effectively inform their priorities and how they advance against the product team vision. This role works with Engineering teams, User Experience Teams, and numerous stakeholders throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• The Senior Product Manager will routinely craft vision for complex or multiple product(s) and features independently and may participate in crafting long term vision with guidance.
• The Senior Product Manager will maintain mastery in translating business needs into customer goals and features as well as mastery in driving the vision, strategy, and overall roadmap for a product or multiple products to deliver against core customer value propositions and Best Buy's strategic and financial goals.
• The Senior Product Manager will keep the customer need at the forefront of solution creation. They will demonstrate empathy for the customer and will steer discussions to how to build customer trust. They will highlight system constraints (resource, financial, technology) to leadership that prevent creation of long-term customer engagement and brand love.
• The Senior Product Manager leads the team(s) in innovation exercises to demonstrate the test/learn/iterate mindset.
• The Senior Product Manager will master skills to analyze product performance through qualitative and quantitative analysis tools and processes and answer questions as well as may apply crafting theories for more ambiguous business problems.
• The Senior Product Manager is a senior team leader who leads by promoting a culture where team members feel comfortable to dissent and have a sense of belonging. They show willingness in moderating difficult conversations with stakeholders and ensure that people leave meetings feeling heard and understood. They identify when discussions are not inclusive of multiple points of view and actively solicit additional perspectives. They encourage and strongly advance Best Buy's culture of diversity and inclusion, build and lead one or more teams of direct and indirect (skip level) team members. Role Aspects

Minimum Required Experience
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field OR equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• 2 yrs. relevant Product Management Experience (Dev, UX, Strategy, etc.)
• 2 indirect team management / leadership / work direction
• 1 yrs. relevant experience in strategy creation, customer focused solutioning, cross-functional leadership, etc.
Preferred Education/Experience
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Marketing, Communications or related field.
• 6 years B2B experience.
• 2 years of people management experience.
