Salesmanship is not just the art of selling your products to the targeted customers. In fact, this chosen field of work encompasses all good facets of a human being -his learning, his talent, his personality, his nature, his ability to converse with others and so on. A salesman might be able to sell few products to the customers, but a good salesman is one, who wins the trust of the customer and leaves an impression of his traits on the buyer. Then process starts to kick in - if you've listened carefully and asked searching questions you are in a better position to present solutions in terms of both features and benefits. And you are better equipped to handle objections and present logical arguments.
The biggest point in being a sales man is to know the art of speaking. When you interact with the customer in no time, you should frame out his nature and map your moves accordingly. This is only possible if you are extremely analytic in nature.
You should have a very charming and pleasing personality. The buyer if pleased with you from the beginning itself will negotiate less and it will become easier for you to strengthen your grounds. Thus, help your customer built a trust for you, as this will be highly beneficial for you.
Those who have a sincere person's state of mind in determining the success of the basic requirements for doing things, as a business, must be holding a sincere heart and sincere treatment of customers, deal with colleagues, the only way people will respect you, to you as a friend.
