Benchmark Hospitality International has appointed Greg Leeper as the new regional director of sales for French Lick Resort Casino, located in French Lick, Indiana. Leeper joins French Lick Resort Casino after three decades of hospitality sales success. In his new position, he will be responsible for corporate, association, and incentive business originating in the Midwestern states. Leeper previously served as a director of sales for hinton+grusich, a Chicago-based firm, where he represented hundreds of resorts and hotels across the nation. Benchmark Hospitality International is a Texas-based, independent hospitality-management company that operates resorts and hotels domestically and internationally.
Habbo appoints Lewis as advertising sales director for North America
Habbo, a leading global online virtual community for teenagers, has appointed Jeannine Lewis as its advertising sales director for North America. In her new position, Lewis will manage developing partnerships with brands across industries such as entertainment, fashion, music, and sports. Lewis brings more than 10 years of marketing and ad sales experience to her new role. Prior to joining Habbo, she served Variety as a senior consumer account executive, and she has also held ad sales positions at The Hollywood Reporter and Barbara Bella & Associates. Home sales in California fall by nearly 22% in July
Home sales in California fell by nearly 22% in July, and the number of homes resold as a result of foreclosure climbed. July was the California real estate market's slowest month in terms of sales since 1995, with just 35,185 new and resale houses and condos sold. Home sales fell by 21.9% in July, compared with home sales in the same period last year, and statewide sales have decreased for the past 22 months. The median home price in California dropped by 0.2% in July to $478,000.
