Sales Manager Jobs description
A sales manager will organize motivate and lead sales teams in a wide range of sectors including pharmaceuticals, FMCG, and finance. A sales manager will be responsible for the combined performance of the team and for ensuring that everyone within the team reaches their targets. A sales manager will have to set targets themselves or they can receive from sales director. A sales manager would be given authority to operate and implement incentive schemes to motivate members of their team to reach or exceed sales targets. A sales manger will be particularly look after recruiting and training sales staff, supervising, motivating and monitoring team performance. A sales manager will also take responsibility for allocating areas to sales executives setting their budget/targets liaising with other line managers, reporting back to senior managers and maintaining detailed knowledge of the company’s product or services.A graduate from any stream having good leadership skills, out spoken, extrovert, who likes traveling would be the right person for the post of sales manager. A diploma in sales may also help. Good written and verbal communication skills, effective presentation skills, and good in one-on-one basis discussion is must for the post of sales manager.
